The City of Thunder Bay’s ‘Commit to Respect’ campaign is still active, and we have subscribed to their campaign.
People who work in the service industry MUST receive the respect they rightly deserve. People who are cleaners are often not acknowledged in social circles of trade and commerce. However, they are quickly noticed for what they didn’t do VS what they did do.
The staff at The Steam Guy are fire prevention technicians. End of story. We know we are more than just what we do, but there are those who consider us as less. ‘Just the cleaners.’
Previously inaccessible ducting are made accessible and cleaned by our hard-working crew whose best attempt results in your kitchen exhaust system to be compliant with NFPA96. The fire inspector (or any AHJ) is enabled to grant permission for your kitchen to stay in business one more year!
Out of respect, The Steam Guy pays our crew well above minimum wage. We’ve been able to provide them with an employee benefits package and appreciate their constant loyalty and drive to continue to perform in this crazy dirty business of re-certifying kitchen exhaust systems.
